Are you looking for a way to get more involved with your child's education? PTO is a perfect opportunity to create a closer connection with the staff and other parents. Your involvement, whether for a single event or an ongoing program, will be greatly appreciated by the school and students alike. There are many ways to volunteer, such as reading to students, helping with special projects, creating bulletin boards for a class, tutoring a student, assisting on a field trip, helping with special events and programs, plus many more opportunities.

Volunteering gives you a great opportunity to meet your child's friends and classmates as well as connect as a family. You will be rewarded with smiles and waves from the kids as you make your way down the hall.

Ways to sign up to volunteer

There are several ways to volunteer. You can submit the volunteer pledge form from your child's school packet, send in thevolunteer form to your child's teacher, or call the school secretary at (828) 683-2341.

Financial ways to volunteer

Every year our teachers and staff spend lots of their own money outfitting their room, buying supply for the children in their rooms, and buying rewards to help motivate the students. Both the students and teachers will really appreciate any assistance you can give. Both the school and the PTO also accept monetary donations. Please stop by the school office during the weekday to make a cash donation. Thank you.

Teacher's Volunteer Request

Teachers, please fill out the volunteer request form and bring it to the front office when you need help with a special event. Our volunteer committee will work with our volunteers to help you find the assistance you want. Thank you all for your help.
